cancellations & Cancellation fees

If you must cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible.

When you book an appointment with me, I reserve that time exclusively for YOU. I realise circumstances completely out of our control do arise occasionally and I understand that. However, when you miss an appointment, it means loss of availability for other clients and loss of income for me as I’m unable to fill last minute cancellations. Before cancelling, please be aware of the following fees:

  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before your service, your deposit will be refunded in full.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before your service, you’ll be charged 100% of your scheduled service fee.

  • If you “no show” your appointment, you’ll be charged 100% of your scheduled service fee.

  • After 3 cancelled appointments, you’ll be removed from my client list.

LATE GUEST POLICY

I know “life happens”. If you expect to be more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, please contact me directly at candycrushhair@gmail.com or via text at 518 723 0331.

Accommodating late guests is impossible without disrupting every other guest scheduled that day.

In the unfortunate event that you’re late, I cannot guarantee that I can perform your services that day. We can either perform part of your service in the time remaining in your originally scheduled appointment, or we can reschedule.

POLICIES (for CREATURE OF HABIT HAIR STUDIO)

All stylists have an hourly, all-inclusive rate.

Appointments are scheduled based on the estimated time it will take to complete the service as opposed to “traditional” a la carte service pricing. Appointments are scheduled by planning to spend more time on your service than anticipated (potentially finishing earlier than expected) so we can avoid anxiety, rushing, and/or unforeseen costs.

Our pricing structure includes gratuity so the best non-monetary tips you can give me are:

  • tagging me in your selfies, posts, and stories on social media

  • referring friends and family to me

  • interacting with my social media content (like, comment, share, save, and respond to posts and stories)

  • pre-booking your next appointment

  • leaving me a review on Vagaro and Google Reviews

  • a warm hug
